The 'Flamenco at the Castle' series arrives at Santa Bárbara Castle with five free performances. 'Flamenco at the Castle' is the new series of shows to be held at Santa Bárbara Castle, featuring five flamenco shows with live music and dance, with free admission.

Professional flamenco dancers will explore the different styles of flamenco in an innovative and traditional way.

The power of flamenco through versatile artists capable of moving the public with their art.

The official guitarist of the ‘El Cante de las Minas’ festival, Antonio Muñoz, will present this show, based on the deepest and most heartfelt art, seen through the lens of 25 years of experience at the world-renowned flamenco festival, El Cante de las Minas. He will be accompanied on stage by vocalist Bastian Contreras. The dancer Juan Ogalla, a Cádiz native with an extensive career, has been a member of the Manuel Morao company and principal dancer with the companies of Cristina Hoyos, Manuela Carrasco, María Pages, and many others.


He has participated in such prestigious festivals as the Mont-de-Marsan International Festival, the Granada International Festival of Music and Dance, the Mahón Flamenco Festival, and the Querencias Festival in Céret. Ogalla has performed in flamenco venues throughout Spain, including Casa Patas, El Arenal, and Los Gallos.

A live flamenco show featuring the renowned dancer Rocío Sempere from Alicante. An artist with extensive experience performing on stage with other top-tier artists, as well as in her own productions. She will be accompanied on stage by Antonio and Santiago Moreno on guitar and vocals, respectively.

The cast is headed by the renowned flamenco singer Iván Segura Ruíz, known artistically as ‘Chaskio’, winner of the national singing and dancing competition in the mines of Peñarroya (Córdoba), where he won the Lámpara Minera (Mining Lamp) award, and of the Lo Ferro Flamenco Festival in the flamenco-influenced singing category, among many other accolades such as the First Prize from the Federation of Flamenco Clubs of Málaga. Iván Chaskio has nine albums to his name, the most recent being ‘Mi verdad’ (My Truth), released this year.
